Tailorman - a made-to-order Men’s Brand enters Hyderabad

Tailorman is a Bengaluru based company which has stores that have an eclectic collection to suit every palate. As per the company it has a brand new concept in menswear. They have a range from innovative and modern designs to elegant, timeless couture. They are said to use only the finest of fabrics and materials.

In the month of January this year they had announced that they are going to start their retail stores in Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi. In January the three-year-old company had announced that their target is to have close to 40 stores by the end of the year. They had seven stores in the beginning of the year.

The stores since the month of April have introduced women's wear and have also included casual shirts, cotton pants, accessories and wedding wear.

The brand is also available on Amazon Indian and Myntra now. The company's co-founder Vidya Nataraj aims to grow the online channel and ensure that half of the total business comes from online sales. Gautam Golchha, the co-founder of Tailorman says she has an eye for detail.

Vidya is daughter of Natraj Ramaiah who was a co-founder of the Chennai based Landmark Ltd which was brought over by Trent Ltd in 2008. She is married to equal owner of C Krishniah Chetty & Sons, a 145-year-old family jewellery business.

She has co-founded online jewellery store BlueStone Jewellery and Lifestyle Private Limited. For Tailorman the competition comes from brands like Louis Philippe and Van Heusen, to suiting brands like Raymond and Brooks Brothers, as well as local tailoring stores.

Tailorman offers 19 sizes and five fits for every fabric online. The stores also offer the facility where one can book a home appointment with their master tailor.

Tailorman specifically mentions on the website that they do not believe in the one-size-fits all policy and they understand that each individual is unique.
