Tirupati, May 2: While luck seems to be already on the side of Narendra Modi with the "Modi Wave" taking the country on a roller-coaster ride, the PM-would be might still need the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara himself.

Hence, yesterday's rally began on a devotional note, no doubt. BJP's Prime Ministrial candidate offered worship at the shrine and was accompanied by TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu.

The 20 minutes visit to the temple also saw the Janasena founder, Pawan Kalyan, actor-turned-politician and brother of Union Minister Chiranjeevi, with the two leaders.

After the visit here, the trio went to worship at the shrine of Lord Shiva called Vaayulingeswara at Sri Kalahasti, 40 km from here.
