New Delhi, Aug 26: To mark the 50th anniversary of 1965 WAR, Indian government has decided to organise month long celebrations in New Delhi from August 28 to September 26.
The Defence Ministry note calls for "commemoration and celebration of the Golden Jubilee of this great victory by Three Services."
The 1965 war fought between India and Pakistan between from April to September 1965 was the second conflict between the two countries over the status of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
