Bangalore, Oct 23: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday signed nice agreements with nine including that of cooperation on trans-border rivers. Singh was welcomed in Beijing with a great reception. Singh also had lunch with Chinese Premier Wen Jibao.

Meanwhile In Nevada, the young gunman who shot a maths teacher and two other fellow students was dissuaded by his friends from carrying out the shooting. The police said that his parents are likely to face charges for letting him get his hands on the gun, which he had brought from home.
