Bangalore, July 2: In  a surprise twist, Nick Kyrgios of Australia celebrated his win against Rafael Nadal of Spain in their men's singles match at the All England Lawn Tennis Championships in Wimbledon, London.

Kyrgioz, 19, won the fourth-round tie with Nadal 7-6 (7/5), 5-7, 7-6 (7/5), 6-3 to become the first wildcard in a decade to make the Wimbledon quarterfinals.

Meanwhile, a fire raged in California, leaving as many as 140 homes evacuated and 2,500 acres burned.
