Bangalore, April 2: With the country gearing up for the Lok Sabha elections, there is massive political buzz in the country.

The Republican People's Party filed to contest results in Ankara, where its candidate appears to have narrowly lost to Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's ruling AKP party.
Meanwhile, Lufthansa Airlines has decided to cancel 3,800 flights because of a three-day strike by the pilots' union later this week, hitting more than 425,000 passengers. The cancellations include domestic and intercontinental connections.
