AAP is back with a bang! Here is what you can expect in the coming months
Bengaluru, Nov 14: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday, released its first list of candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections which are likely to be held early next year. While the party has named its former popular candidates like Somnath Bharti and Jarnail Singh, here is what you can expect from the AAP in the coming months:
Arvind Kejriwal and his muffler
AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, who made a style statement last year with the muffler, sweater and AAP 'topi' is likely to be back in the news again. The muffler, became like an identity after Kejriwal was seen sporting it on many occasions thanks to the Delhi winters, will be seen more often.
Interactions with 'aam aadmi'
Last year we had seen AAP and it's leaders actively interact with Delhiites ahead of the assembly elections. This year too the party has launched 'Delhi Dialogues' in the capital aiming to interact with the people from different fields and making 'Delhi a world-class' city in the next five years.
The party is already very active on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook and constantly encourage people to send in their suggestions and feed backs.
More press conferences, more mud-slinging
Last year, ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, AAP had alleged that many of its MLAs were being poached by the BJP. There were many press conferences held in this regard and such claims were trashed by the BJP. The party was constantly in the news over various issues.
This year too we can expect similar claims from the AAP, more sensational claims of corruption and poaching targeting the opposition.
Promises galore
Like last time, this year too we can expect the AAP to make promises such as reduction in power tarrif, fighting against the corrupt politicians and people. Though there is no denying that the AAP did manage to keep some of its promises last time, if similar promises are made this time, they will have to stick by it.
