Chennai, April 25: As Tamil Nadu assembly elections are less than a month away, the BJP is leaving no stone unturned to test its fate in the upcoming polls on May 16, Monday.
The saffron party, that did not get any ally to fight in the polls, is now roping in star-power to woo voters in the southern state. [Special Coverage: Assembly Elections 2016]
Today, actor-comedian Srinivasan joined the BJP in front of senior BJP leader and Minister of State Pon Radhakrishnan. His wife was also present when he embraced the BJP, ahead of elections.
The BJP is contesting in all the 10 assembly constituencies in Coimbatore district and is confident of winning seven seats.
Tamil Nadu votes on May 16 to elect the 234-member assembly.
