Chennai, April 13: After his much awaited meeting with South superstar Rajinikanth, Narendra Modi addressed Bharat Vijay rally in Chennai on Sunday, April 13. While addressing the crowd, Modi finally revealed his plans for Team India.

Speaking about manifesto released by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Modi said, "We have written about idea of Team India where PM and every Chief Miniters (CMs) work as a Team India for development of India."

"This election is about deciding where we want to take our nation. This is an election of hope and people are confident that good days are ahead," said Modi.

Speaking about Modi-wave across the country, the Gujarat CM said, "Even before the Elections were declared the results were declared. People are convinced a new Govt. is coming. Have seen proactive support across the country."

This election is about deciding where we want to take our nation: Narendra Modi

Enlightening people about BJP allies in NDA, Modi said, "BJP is fighting the elections with 24 parties. Never has such a big alliance come together before an Election. These elections are going to create a ray of hope in Tamil Nadu."

Hitting out at DMK and AIADMK-led by M Karunanidhi and J Jayalalithaa respectively, Modi said, "DMK and AIADMK...when they are in power they spent most of their energy in destroying each other, not devoted to people."

He also showed his confidence in the third strength in the state comprising BJP, PMK and many more regional parties. Modi said, "For the first time a 3rd Strength has emerged that will change the face of Tamil Nadu. Both parties here are taking people for granted and their politics depends on a few percentage of votes here and there."

"Emergence of this new strength is in the interests of the people of Tamil Nadu. This 3rd strength that has emerged will make the 2 main parties here more proactive," he added.

"We need to strengthen India's Federal Structure. Each state has different issues & priorities and one solution wont work for all," stated Modi.

Slamming Union Finance Minister and senior Congress minister P Chidambaram, who refused to contest poll this Lok Sabha election, Modi said, "UPA's condition is so bad that their biggest leaders dont want to fight elections. See Recounting Minister he ran away from polls."

Comparing himself with Congress vice president and apparent prime ministerial candidate Rahul Gandhi, Modi asserted, "I know what poverty is - I have experienced what it is when a child has to sleep hungry. I told tea in rail coaches."

Speaking about several Tamil fishermen, who have been arrested by Sri Lankan army, Modi said, "UPA is not concerned about fishermen and fishing. A big market awaits us but we need to devote attention to it."
