"Our Amma is well and she will come back for us. She is our mother, our leader. No harm can come to her", said a Jayalalithaa supporter outside the hospital. "We pray for her. We stand by her. She can't leave us. She will come back. Our Amma is fine. She will be alright by morning", said another.
