Addressing the press in Chennai, the MP said that the law had no space for Sasikala to become AIADMK's chief. "Sasikala was expelled from the party in 2011 and was taken back after she apologised. She has not been a member for five consecutive years and cannot become General Secretary", Sasikala Pushpa said.
Continuing to question the secrecy over Jayalalithaa's death, she claimed that it was suspicious. "Why has Sasikala occupied Poes Garden? What right does she have? The party's property is worth more than Rs 1000 crore. I will not allow anyone to misuse it", she said.
Lambasting Sasikala Natarajan, a woman that the party wants as the next General Secretary, the AIADMK MP said that the people voted for Jayalalithaa and none other.
She accused Sasikala of accumulating illegal wealth using Jayalalithaa's name.
