AIADMK’s big announcement on Jayalalithaa: Amma is well; will be home soon
The AIADMK on Wednesday said party supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, hospitalised since last month, is “very well”.
Chennai, Oct 27: Here is a piece of great news for the supporters of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, as they are continuously praying for the long life and good health of their leader.
The ruling AIADMK on Wednesday said party supremo Jayalalithaa is "very well" and will return home soon.
"She is very well. God is by her side. She will come home soon," party spokesperson CR Saraswathy said.
Saraswathy added the prayers of party supporters bore fruit, and thanked the experts from the AIIMS, New Delhi, and Singapore, among others, who treated the chief minister.
The 68-year-old AIADMK supremo is undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospitals, Greams Road in Chennai, since September 22.

On Wednesday morning, Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy also tweeted that he had learnt that Jayalalithaa may be discharged soon.

According to reports, party workers across Tamil Nadu continue to hold massive prayer meetings for Amma's speedy recovery. Jayalalithaa is popularly addressed as Amma (mother) by her supporters.
