The DMDK-led People's Welfare Front or third front is expected to win three seats, the PMK two and the BJP one (Vedaranyam). [What is difference between vote share and contested vote share?]
The exit poll also predicted close contest in 16 seats.
The tally of 111, however, will not secure the AIADMK majority in the 234-member Assembly.
The Thanthi TV exit poll also predicted a defeat for the state's power minister, N Viswanathan from Arthur, while former chief minister O Panneerselvam could win from Bodinayakannur.
On Monday, the CVoter exit poll predicted the AIADMK alliance to win 139 seats, which is a comfortable majority, and 78 for the DMK alliance. Other exit polls indicated the DMK's return to power.
The exit polls of ABP News, Chanakya and Axis My India hinted at the DMK getting more seats than the AIADMK, with two of them predicting Karunanidhi's party crossing the majority mark of 117.
