The people of the village are happy to know that Singh has been the first MP to adopt the village under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana," Singh's niece, Harendra Doomrakha said today.
Singh's wife and BJP MLA Premlata said there are several problems in Khatkar village.
"When I came here during elections, I found that there was a scarcity of essential commodities. Becoming a model village, the people will get better facilities here," she said.
