Patna, Feb 21: A mason and a cycle shop owner from Bihar have been wrongly branded as 'terrorists' by the SSB without any evidence. Jameel Akhtar and Majid Sai complain that their honour, respect and dignity has been harmed due to the accusation, especially when even the police has given them a clean chit.

They demanded a show-cause, following which they will commit suicide if a high-level probe is not ordered.

"It is a matter of honour, respect and dignity. We are poor people and have nothing to do with terrorists," he said.

In a report last month, the SSB had named the two with terror links in Indian Mujahideen and Pakistan's intelligence ISI. Residents of Motihari in East Champaran district, the duo visited Patna to meet chief minister Nitish Kumar for justice.

In fact, Additional Director General of Police Ravinder Kumar also cleared them of such links. Surprisingly, the Minority Welfare and Information Technology Minister Shahid Ali Khan was also accused of links with the duo, but not by the SSB but by the BJP after the former's report was out. Police gave a clean chit to Khan too. (Read)
