It will be the first public appearance of the two leaders after Advani's open revolt against the anointment of Modi. He also skipped the party meeting on September 13 where the decision on Modi was sealed and the event where the formal declaration was made.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who is eyeing his third term, reportedly urged Advani to attend the rally during the National Integration Council meeting in New Delhi earlier this week.

Among other prominent leaders who are likely to be present on the occasion are Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj and former MP chief minister Uma Bharati.
The birth anniversary of late Jana Sangh leader Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay will also be observed at the event.
The BJP expects around 5 lakh people to throng the event, named the 'karyakarta mahakumbh' and a token price of Rs 5 will be charged for party workers attending the rally. No entry fee will be charged from ordinary citizens, sources in the BJP said.
Eleven special trains have also been organised to carry people from several parts of the state to the rally ground.
Modi has been addressing houseful rallies over the past few months and Bhopal is also expected to keep the momentum going.
Madhya Pradesh will go to the polls along with Delhi, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram in another few months. Surveys have predicted a clear win of BJP in MP.
