The Bharatiya Janta Party has often criticised Congress for its dynastic politics has fielded kin of many of its leaders in Madhya Pradesh state Assembly elections.

In 2008 assembly elections, the most interesting case was in Dhar constituency, where Neena Verma was declared elected by a margin of just one vote. However, the result was challenged in court by Bal Mukund Gautam, who finished second.

In 2008, Neena Verma was declared elected by a margin of just one vote.

He waged a long legal battle and was declared a winner and was sworn-in as MLA in September this year.

In a case of "history repeating again", Neena is again all set to battle it out with the rival contestant Gautam from Dhar contituency.
