MP assembly polls: 11 special trains for BJP's 'Karyakarta Mahakumbh'

Bhopal, Sept 24: As the poll-bound Madhya Pradesh is preparing roadmap for Lok Sabha 2014 elections, a total of 11 special trains would be run on Wednesday to bring workers for ruling BJP's "Karyakarta Mahakumbh" to be held at the Jamboori Maidan here.

Special trains going towards Itarsi and carrying BJP workers would be halted at platform number two or three of the Habibganj Railway Station.

Trains going to Bhopal would be halted at platform number four or five, Railway officials said.

Special trains for the occasion would come from various places including Rewa, Chhindwara, Jabalpur, Shahdol, Balaghat, Ratlam, Gwalior, Singrauli and Guna.

Also, in view of this, common commuters would not be allowed to park their vehicles at the second entry gate of the Habibganj Railway Station from 5 PM this evening to five PM on Thursday.

The ruling BJP in MP has been working round the clock for a massive rally on September 25 to be addressed by the BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

'Karyakarta Mahakumbh' will be organized to commemorate the Bharatiya Jan Sangh Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya's birth anniversary at Bhopal's Jambori Maidan.

11 special trains would run to bring workers for BJP's "Karyakarta Mahakumbh".

Like Hyderabad's rally, the party unit has decided to charge Rs 5 from its party workers at the Bhopal event as well.

The BJP is claiming it will be the 'world's largest gathering' of workers of one political party.

The party is expecting around five lakh people in the rally. Veteran party leader LK Advani will also share the dias with Narendra Modi. The rally will be attended by the state's Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, party president Rajnath Singh and other senior leaders.

Around 50,000 Muslims are also expected to attend the Modi's rally in Bhopal tomorrow.

This will be Modi's second rally after his anointment as the BJP's prime ministerial candidate.
