Bhopal, Nov 17: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday took Congress Vice President's Rahul Gandhi's jibe of terming "BJP as a party of thieves" in a rather positive way.

One microblogging site Twitter, Chouhan said that he agrees with the Congress scion's statement but by claiming that they have "stolen hearts of millions by sheer dedication towards the public & India".

While addressing an election rally in Kharsia constituency of poll-bound Chhattisgarh on Saturday, Rahul had dubbed the BJP as a party of 'chors and looteres' (thieves) plundering the natural resources of the state.

While referring to the slain Congress leader Nandu Patel, Rahul told audience, "I want not one but 500 Nandu Patels in Chhattisgarh, who will get the state rid of these thieves."

Although the BJP has taken Rahul's remarks to the Election Commission to seek an action, it seems that Chouhan has utilised Rahul's 'thieves' reamark to express the how his party has stolen the hearts of millions of Indians.

In its complaint, the party termed Gandhi as a "habitual offender" and termed Congress as a "history-sheeter" party in violating the model code of conduct and laws of the land.
