Amethi, May 10: Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi hit back at a person during a recent visit here after the latter asked him about the bad condition of roads, a report of the NDTV said. The man asked the leader: "Bhaiya... sadak pe jhatka laga ki nahi? Dekh lijiye position humlogoka" (did you feel the bad roads here? See our condition). At this, a visibly miffed Gandhi turned back and replied: "Bhaiya, aap jake BJP mein kaam karo" (Brother, you go and work for the BJP) and left.

Some other people standing nearby chanted "Har Har Modi" at this.

Amethi is known to be a bastion of the Gandhi family and is currently represented in the Lok Sabha by Rahul Gandhi.

Go and work in the BJP, Rahul hit back at the man when asked about bad roads

On Friday, a group of people present at Rahul Gandhi's rally in Deoria raised pro-Modi slogans causing discomfiture to the leader.

Gandhi who was campaigning in Deoria was faced with slogans of "Har Har Modi, Ghar Ghar Modi" during his rally while he was promising free housing, free medical care and pension for women to his audience. The security personnel whisked these people away.
