Twitter reaction: Panic amongst netizens over Facebook, Instagram outage
Bengaluru, Jan 27: Shortly after US President Barack Obama gave a power-packed speech at the Siri Fort auditorium in New Delhi on Tuesday, netizens began complaining about Facebook and Instagram outage.
Facebook and Instagram suffered an international outage for almost half an hour. Within minutes of the outage, #facebookdown began trending on Twitter. Facebook owned Instagram also suffered a similar outage. Facebook on its part showed a message that read: "Sorry something went wrong."
The outage that lasted over 30-minutes affected users in Asia, United States. Services of both the social networking sites were restored after the short outage.
