Share your idea of nation-building with 'Mere Sapno Ka Bharat'

Bangalore, Jan 27: In a bid to encourage maximum participation from the youth and the public, the BJP launched its nationwide initiative 'Mere Sapno Ka Bharat' contest on January 26, on the occasion of the Republic Day.

BJP national president Rajnath Singh launched the initiative on the India272+ portal (click here) with an aim to enable and empower every citizen to participate in the process of nation building.

The initiative, spearheaded by BJP vice-president Smriti Irani, provides an opportunity to the average Indian as it invites ideas from them that will contribute to the day-to-day functioning of the government. Ideas are welcome from people across the country.

All you need is a camera and record/ click a video/ photo and upload it on the India 272+ Volunteering platform. The videos/photos will then be reviewed by a panel of judges comprising actors Kirron Kher and Paresh Rawal. Among the jury will be one volunteer from the 272+ forum, who will also judge the videos/ pictures.

The group of finalists will then get an opportunity to discuss their ideas with BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

Earlier, a few volunteers from India 272+ forum met Narendra Modi on Jan 9 as they discussed their views and ideas on the better governance of the country. The volunteers were also exposed to various sessions on Mission 272+ as well as booth-level campaigning.

Over the next few days, the initiative will spread across 300 locations in 100 cities where maximum participation from people is expected.
