Replacement of CM in state is a media fabrication: Siddaramaiah

Mysuru, Apr 28: Replacing the Chief Minister before completion of Congress government's stint in the state of Karnataka is media fabrication, said CM Siddaramaiah.

Siddaramaiah while attending a government program in Mysuru made this statement to media. However, CM suspected political conspiracy behind planting such stories in media.


"Those unable to bear my progress are resorting to spread canards in the media. People must not trust such news. It's the handy work of opposition parties," CM opined.

CM alleged that some section of the media have been putting out news of replacement of CM in the state having no basis. He also expressed disappointment over news.

Talking on drought, Siddaramaiah admitted that state is facing worst drought in recent years. He assured of government taking necessary steps to provide relief and spend required sum of money in this direction.

Clarifying on Lokayukta and Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), CM conveyed, cases filed in Lokayukta will be handled by Lokayukta police and cases in the ACB by ACB cops.
