Non-Resident Kannadigas in US campaign for BJP

Washington, April 5: A group of Non Resident Kannadigas living in the United States of America (USA) are using the social media to influence voters back in

to support the

These techies are spending four to five hours every day to reach out to the voters in Karnataka via telephone, SMS and social media tools.

The team, called NRI friends of BJP (Karnataka), is led by Chandrakanth Yatnatti who is presently living in Los Angeles. He is a native of Ballari district. Sudesh who is from Mangalore and presently living in Arizona, Raghu, a resident of New Jersey who is from Udupi, Mr. Vikram from Mysore who is living in Texas, Subbaraya Heggade who is living in California etc are the other members of this team.

The members collect the contact numbers, social media IDs of voters in Karnataka from the local BJP units. They call the voters over phone from USA and appeal them to vote for BJP. the team has been working hard, spending two hours in the morning, two hours in the evening to campaign for BJP.
