Didn't give Karthik Gowda preferential treatment: Bangalore Police
The police said the charges that they gave a preferential treatment to the minister's son during the interrogation were not right.
TR Suresh, DCP, North Bangalore, told the media that the police interrogated Karthik Gowda for two consecutive days and collected the necessary information. He said if required, the police would summon Gowda again.
On the progress of the matter, Suresh, however, refused to disclose details saying it was under investigation.
Earlier in the day, Karthik appeared at the RT Nagar Police Station in Bangalore for interrogation. He was granted anticipatory bail by a city civil court, which had issued an arrest warrant against him earlier.
The model-actor had claimed of having married Karthik Gowda on June 5. The BJP minister rejected the allegations against his son, saying it was a conspiracy.
