Modi accused Bangladeshis of hijacking Indians' jobs: Bangla daily
According to the report published in Dainik Ittefaq on Thursday, Modi said that it is the right of the sons of the soil to use national resources and facilities but in India, the Bangladeshis were taking advantage of them.
Modi addressed an election rally in Kolkata on Thursday. It was his first rally for the upcoming general polls in April-May.
The BJP leader said the relentless entry of Bangladeshis into the Indian territory is a cause of concern for it is puttingt pressure on resources and jobs. "Shouldn't our own take the advantage," Modi asked at the rally.
Modi also took a dig at the ruling Congress by saying that it had stopped senior politician Pranab Mukherjee (now the President of India) from becoming the prime minister of the country a couple of times.
