Mysore, April 16: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah faced a protest outside his residence here on Tuesday for a strange reason. According to a news report published IBN Live, Siddaramaiah's neighbour protested outside the latter's house alleging that he was assaulted by the personal assistant and bodyguard of Rakesh, the CM's son.

According top the report, Gopal, the angry neighbour, sat on a protest and later explained everything to Siddaramaiah after he came out. He alleged that people who visit the chief minister and his son often urinate on the wall of his compound and when he objected, Rakesh's personal assistant and the bodyguard attacked him and threatened his family.

Siddaramaiah pacified the protester by promising action against the accused and urged him not stop the protest.
The chief minister's son has been accused of being arrogant and interfering in government work in the past as well.
