ISIS Twitter handle operated from Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Dec 12: @shamiwitness is no ordinary account. This is one of the most active accounts of the dreaded ISIS and was operated out of Bangalore.

It was being operated anonymously and has 17700 followers and the messages were all posted on behalf of the ISIS.

The twitter handle mainly posted propaganda material on behalf of the ISIS. The recent beheading videos of the hostages were all posted by this man called Mehdi for the ISIS.

Mehdi a resident of Bangalore has been operating this account for almost a year. He had initially signed up for the ISIS being completely swayed by their ideology but had to refrain due to financial constraints.

The ISIS was not going to support his family and hence he decided to stay back and operate the twitter handle for them. Sources say that he wanted to contribute in some way or the other.

However the Indian agencies are looking at the possibility of this account being operated elsewhere on a Bangalore IP. It is is more less confirmed that this account operated out of Bangalore but we want to be doubly sure the official pointed out.

Even the nationality of Mehdi is under verification. It is said that this man who goes by the name of Mehdi‎ is a food executive.
