Former Infosys CFO, farmer, activists named in AAP's Karnataka list

Big names in AAP's K'taka list
Bangalore, Mar 10: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday released its first list of candidates for Karnataka for the upcoming Lok Sabha election.

The list has some high profile, heavyweight names including that of V Balakrishnan, former member of the Board of Directors, Infosys, Professor Babu Mathew and more.

Professor Babu Mathew will be contesting from Bangalore North. Mathew has been former Rejistrar of NSLIU. Another big name in the list is of V Balakrishnan, who will be contesting from Bangalore Central.

Nina P Nayak is another well known soical activist, who will be contesting from Bangalore South.

Meanwhile noted Kannada writer and software professional, Ravikrishna Reddy will be contesting from Bangalore Rural.

While the list names well known personalities, it also names some aam aadmi who will be contesting the Lok Sabha election. A farmer, Bhimaraya will be contesting the elections from Raichur.

G Sridharakallahalla, noted environmentalist, will be contesting from Shimoga. Former Inspector General of Police K Arkesh, who played a crucial role in Dr Rajkumar's rescue from Verrapan will be contesting from Chikkaballapur.

MR Vasudeva, former Director of Mangalore International airport will be contesting from Dakshina Kannada. Dr BT Lalitha Naik, former minister, will contest from Gulbarga, social worker Ashfaq Ahmed Madaki will contest from Chikkodi.

Founding member of Kisan Movement in Karnataka, Hemanth Kumar will contest from Hubli-Dharwad. Chandrakant Kulkarni will be contesting from Bidar. Well known Dalit leader, Kotiganahalli Ramaiah will contest from Kolar.
