Income Tax officials have given mining baron Gali Janardhana Reddy till November 25 to explain expenditure on his daughter's lavish wedding. The team that raided his offices in Ballari on Monday has served Reddy with a notice seeking details of expenditure incurred during Bramhani's wedding.
The 3 page notice, including 16 point questionnaire, demands to know details of expenses ranging from pre-wedding, post wedding celebrations, event management companies engaged for the event, cost of venue, food and accomodation, jewellery, payments made to celebrities etc.

Within days of his daughter's lavish wedding, Janardhana Reddy is now faced with a notice and is compelled to reply to the same before November 25. Earlier in the day IT officials had raided his offices to find documents related to the wedding celebrations and event organisation companies that the family had engaged. The team headed by Assistant director of Income tax Sanjiv Kumar Verma has served the notice to Janardhana Reddy.
