Exclusive: Bengaluru Youth not supportive of Kiss of Love campaign
Bengaluru, Nov 21: Bengaluru has been upbeat about the Kiss of Love which is likely to be held at the end of this month. The anti-moral policing campaign that took Kochi and Delhi by storm, is likely to be held in the city by Nov end.
OneIndia visited a few colleges and asked a few students, what they thought about this campaign of love.
Bengalureans are you ready to take the Kiss of Love ?
OneIndia spoke to students of Vijaya, Surana and NMKRV college Jayanagar. Most of the colleges students, both boys and girls, feel that, if at all the organisers want to conduct such activity they must do it outside Karnataka.
If people want to kiss, let them do it inside their house, not outside, they said.
We
spoke
to
Manoj

Madan,
Vijay
and
Chandan,

Their
unanimous
opinion
was
that,
Kiss
of
Love
should
be
banned.
If
Kerala,
Tamil

people
want
to
show
their
love
publicly
by
kissing,
let
them
do
it.
We
have
got
nothing
to
do
with
it.
We
can't
help
if
somebody
want
to
jump
into
the
well,

said.
Though the boys were bold enough to respond, not many girls came forward with their opinions. However Ramya of NMKRV responded to our query. She said, Bengaluru people certainly don't like this.
It is people from outside who are spoiling the environment. What is the necessity of kissing in public, she shot back with a question. We will not be part of it, let's leave it to high society.
ABVP activist Lakshminarayan was even more furious when asked about Kiss of Love. "News papers make all sorts of news, but this we will never allow this to happen in Bengaluru. We shall stage protest against anti-society activity," he said.
