Bishop Cotton remembers Jayalalithaa as a 'brilliant student'
The school observed two minutes of silence to condole the late leader and paid tributes to her during the school assembly on Tuesday morning.
The Bishop Cotton Girls' School in Bengaluru fondly remembered J Jayalalithaa as a 'brilliant student' on Tuesday. The former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu had been a student at the school from 1952 to 1958.

The school observed two minutes of silence to condole the late leader and paid tributes to her during the school assembly on Tuesday morning. Posters of Jayalalithaa were displayed within the school premises.
"She was a brilliant student and a wonderful athlete. I feel proud and privileged for being invited for two oath ceremonies of her as Chief Minister," said Dr Lavanya Mithran, Principal, Bishop Cotton Girls' School.
The principal shared vintage photographs of Jayalalithaa as a class 4 student. The students took time out of their busy exam schedules to remember Jayalalithaa.
