Bengaluru: Man gropes woman inside a mall, detained
Bengaluru, Aug 9: A girl, who went to watch a movie along with her friends in Bengaluru on Saturday, Aug 8, had a nightmare, as she was harassed by a youth, inside a crowded mall.
The shocking incident happened when movie-goers were coming out of the theatre after watching Bollywood film Bajrangi Bhaijaan at the PVR cinemas at Forum mall in Koramangala.
While talking exclusively to OneIndia, the harassed girl said that initially, she thought that one of her friends was holding her arm from back, but later she was shocked to see that a stranger was holding her hand.
When questioned, the youth said, "what is your problem" and started behaving as if nothing happened.
When onlookers confronted him asking that "what did he do", then the man shamelessly replied, "I just held her hand, people do so much more".
Some people caught hold of him and alerted security guards, present at the mall. But, the man was laughing shamlessly as if nothing had happened.
Security guards found out that he entered inside the hall without purchasing the ticket.
Meanwhile, police reached the spot and told him to apologise, but he did not utter a single word and kept on smiling.
He was then taken to Adugodi police station and a complaint was registered against him.
Later, he called himself as a mental patient of NIMHANS.
