Flood-like situation in Bengaluru after a day's shower, 3 more days to go
Bengaluru, July 29: Just a day's shower has inundated Bengaluru. That is the condition of the infrastructure facilities here. But what is more worrying for Bengalurians is that the rains will continue to lash the city for 3 more days, according to the Met department reports.
While the citizens of the Silicon Valley of India struggle to cope up with the unexpected challenges, BBMP and BDA officials point fingers at each other, cites Bomanahalli Councillor. "There is no mutual understanding between the two entities and their disagreements are proving to be an obstacle for the development of the city," he said.
Meanwhile, 110 families are reported to be stranded in their homes for the past 2 days. They are being supplied with food packets. Water and electricity supply has been cut off in these areas.
7 vehicles are said to be damaged due to a wall collapse in Sanjay Nagar. There are heavy traffic snarls in Mysuru road, Banerghatta road , BTM layout, Bellandur.

However, the worst affected is Kodichikkanahalli, which is reported to be submerged in upto 5 feet of water in Duo Enclave Layout and Doctor's Layout . Rescue operations have been launched in these areas in life boats.
Anekkal, Sarjapura, Electronic City, Gottigere are among the other regions that are badly affected by water logging.
