Bengaluru: BJP worker found dead after fight with his friend

Bengaluru, May 22: A 55-year-old BJP worker was found dead on Friday (May 20) under mysterious circumstances at Maruti Layout, Chandra layout, West Bengaluru.

According to police, Kunta Rajanna got into a fight with his friend Nagaraj on Friday (May 20) night as his friend smoked cigarette in front of him.


A family friend informed police that Rajanna hated smoking and he was very cautious about passive smoking.

"Earlier also he had fight with outsiders who smoked at public places in front of him," victim's friend concluded.

Police also said, "Similar fight happened on the night when they both came out of the bar restaurant. However, it took ugly turn when they both started fighting because of cigarette issue."

"The verbal disputes were so loud that people informed police control room. Cop who arrived at the spot sent back Rajanna and Nagaraj to their home."

"After dispute, Rajanna went out from home again at around 12.30 pm when he recieved a call from Nagaraj. Meanwhile, Rajanna's family got worried when he did not return home till 1 pm.

Suddenly, someone informed that he was found dead near the bar and restaurant," Rajanna's family members concluded.
