For S Prakash, the media in charge of the BJP in Karnataka it was quite a day when he received a notice from the traffic police for not wearing a helmet. The only problem with this notice was that it was issued to him while he was driving his car.
Prakash informed OneIndia that he got the notice by post. The notice slapped a fine of Rs 100 for not wearing a helmet. The only problem was that the vehicle number KA-04 MP 7257 was his car.
The notice mentions the offence as riding pillion and not wearing a helmet.
Prakash says that the notice printed with a fine amount of Rs. 100 for the pillion rider not wearing helmet near Basaveshwara Circle.
The notice also specifically mentions the type of vehicle as a car, he also informed. The traffic police is looking into this issue. It could be a technical flaw, an officer informed and we will rectify it, he also said.
