According to the report, the police decided to take help of the drones after feeling that it would be a herculean task to monitor the massive crowd at the venue through man-marking or close-circuit cameras. Equipped with advanced cameras, the drones will help the police to monitor the situation from the control room and the photos will be relayed to the on-duty officers at the venue.

Five thousand police personnel will also be deployed at the Palace Grounds.

Over 4 lakh people are expected to attend the rally of the popular leader. The BJP has hired 10 trains that will bring people from across the state for the rally. The state BJP leadership has offered cooperation to the police in matters of security.
