ACB raids kin of suspended Karnataka officials
The residence of Chikkarayappa's relative in Vivekananda Nagar of Kolar's KGF was raided by ACB as part of the ongoing investigations.
The Anti Corruption Bureau raided (ACB) the kin of Chikkarayappa, a government official who was suspended following allegations of possessing illegal wealth. The ACB had registered a suo moto case against him and another bureaucrat after income tax officials unearthed Rs 152 crore worth illegal wealth in their possession.
The residence of Chikkarayappa's relative in Vivekananda Nagar of Kolar's KGF was raided by ACB as part of the ongoing investigations. The raid followed a tip off about Chikkarayappa hiding documents pertaining to the illegal wealth he had amassed in his relative's house in Kolar.

Following the income tax raid in Bengaluru, both government officials were suspended by the Karnataka government and the ACB had registered a case under Prevention of Corruption act against them.
