AAP Karnataka protests 'misuse' of Kejriwal's photos in Bangalore
In a press release issued on Saturday, AAP Karnataka Convenor Siddharth said the banners are trying to give impression that those organisations have an allegiance to the AAP, which he said is not the case.
The AAP Karnataka said Kejriwal's photos were being used for personal gains
"AAP Karnataka would like to caution the citizens of Karnataka that AAP has not authorized these banners and do not endorse them in any way. These banners and the people sponsoring them are applying cheap tactics to derive mileage out of the goodwill generated by Aam Aadmi Party," the statement said. It was also said that the AAP is not in favour of such banner culture and idolising individuals for personal profits.
The AAP Karnataka also gave a helpline number (+91-8095435393) to the citizens and also advised them to refer to www.aapkarnataka.org to get authentic information about the AAP Karnataka.
