Asaram clears potency test, chargesheet to be filed soon

, Sep 2: Jodhpur Police on Monday said self-styled godman

failed to defend himself and a chargesheet in the case will be filed soon. Asaram claimed innocence after he cleared a potency test conducted on him at the SN Medical college in Jodhpur.

As of now, Asaram is the only accused in sexual assault case and the police officials have not ruled out more arrests. But investigations will soon be carried out.

Asaram was also taken to the crime scene to reconstruct the crime on Sunday. His custody with the Jodhpur police ends today and chargesheet will be filed soon.

Asaram cleared potency test

The father of the girl who was sexually assaulted by the self-styled godman, wishes he had not believed this man so blindly. He just regarded whatever Asaram told him as the word of god and also donated land and supervised the construction of Asaram's ashram in Shajahanpur city, located around 150 km from Lucknow.

Asaram, 72, was arrested by the Jodhpur Police after midnight from his Ashram.

The sexual assault case was filed by an inmate of his Chhindwara-based ashram in Madhya Pradesh. The assault allegedly took place in Jodhpur following which a case was initially registered in Delhi and later transferred to Jodhpur for probe.
