The DGP said that Bhatkal said this during interrogation by the Bihar Police. Bhatkal was arrested along with his close aide Asadulla Akhtar.
Yasin Bhatkal confirmed that Riyaz and Iqbal Bhatkal are in Pakistan, said the Bihar Police.
The duo was produced in a court in Motihari in Bihar where Bhatkal said that bomb blasts are a common occurrence and there was nothing new about it. The duo was due to be flown to New Delhi in a special aircraft for detailed interrogation.
New York Times reports on Bhatkal arrest
The New York Times on Thursday reported the arrest of Indian Mujahideen (IM) mastermind Yasin Bhatkal near the India-Nepal border in the wee hours of Thursday.

suspect,
Yasin
Bhatkal,
is

of
the
founders
of

Mujahedeen
(IM),
a
banned
Islamic
militant
group
that
is
believed
to
be
responsible
for
explosions
in
New
Delhi,
Mumbai
and
other
major
cities.
He
was
arrested
near
the
border
with
Nepal.
