MLAs go on the rampage when asked to pay the toll at a booth

Maharashtra, Aug 22: In what seems like a brazen abuse of power, Maharashtra MLAs ransacked toll booths in two separate incidents on Tuesday.

Sena MLA Anil Kadam and independent MLA Shirish Kotwal vandalised a toll booth in Pimpalgaon in Nashik district today after they were asked to pay the toll by the staff whereas Samajwadi Party MLA Abdul Momin ransacked a poll booth in Bhiwandi for doing the same.

A mob soon followed Momin and vandalised the toll booth for not allowing him free access.

The MLAs went on a rampage injuring the staff and even abused the women staffers who were on duty.

The MLAs who had no fear of the law and thought of themselves above the it, broke the windows and damaged the equipment in the booth.
