GSLV-D5 launch called off after detection of leakage
Officials addressed the media immediately after the launch was called off and said that leaky components in the fuel tank were noticed in the second stage of launch. This is the third launch after the failed attempt three years ago. "We need to check and make assumptions of the cost and see what needs to be done to rectify it," said ISRO Chairman, K Radhakrishnan.
The satellite was removed back to the vehicle assembly to examine what exactly caused the leakage. The date of the next launch will be decided after examination.
