Former ACP found dead at his New Delhi residence
According to the police, the deceased identified as Satyavir Dahiya was a retired Assistant Commissioner of Police. His body was found this afternoon inside his home in Prashant Vihar area of Rohini.The investigating officers say that the weapon used to kill him was found next to the body.
The police suspect that the crime was committed by a person who was known to him. They have found two bullet injuries on his body and details from the forensic experts are awaited.
A police official said that investigations are on into matter. Though they suspect it to be a case of murder , at this stage it will be premature to reach any conclusion they said.
