New Delhi, Aug 19: Abdul Karim Tunda, a very close aide of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, who was arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell from the Indo-Nepal border is singing like a canary. Thus, proving close alliances with the Pakistani ISI and the military in executing the 26/11 attacks.

He further revealed that Dawood Ibrahim is still in Karachi and is being guarded by the ISI. Although his movements are restricted, Tunda has been meeting him for several times.

"Dawood first called him to meet in 2010. He says that the underworld don stays in a safe house in Karachi and is guarded by ISI. His movements are restricted and monitored by the intelligence agency," said an officer.

Claiming that the Pakistani military has strong connections with the mafia don, Tunda further added that he had been in touch with terrorist outfits like ISI, LeT, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Indian Mujahiddin and Babbar Khalsa and had been constantly meeting with Hafiz Saeed, Maulana Masood Azhar, Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, Dawood Ibrahim and several others wanted by India.

Tunda is proving to be a worthy resource, throwing light on the root cause and execution of the 26/11 Mumbai attack. Police reveals that the mastermind was Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, who also called the shots for terror outfit Lashker-e-Taiba's (LeT).

Tunda alleges that he has been kept out of LeT's 'bleed-India' policy strategy, despite being one of the co-founders of the pan-India operations. The reason for him being overlooked was because he was considered a spent force, once he arrived in Pakistan from Bangladesh in early 2000.

Initially associated with the Tanzim Islahul Muslimeen (TIM), the Organisation for the Improvement of Muslims, he started directing youth into terror activities after witnessing the 1985 riots in Mominpura area of Nagpur in Maharashtra.
