Hyderabad, Aug 10: Senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu visited the Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium here on Saturday to take of the arrangements ahead of Gujarat Chief Minister and chief of the party's poll campaign committee for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Narendra Modi. The rally will kick off the BJP's campaign for the next parliamentary elections.

On Friday, Naidu said the BJP is working towards a Congress-free India in the lead-up to the 2014 polls.

"The Congress has ruled the country for 55 years and ruined the country - from Parliament to panchayat, from municipalities to Mukhya Mantri (chief minister) (and) every post that was held by the Congress party. It is responsible for all the ills faced by the country that's why we want a Congress-mukta Bharat (Congress-free India)," Naidu said here.
