Heavy rainfall expected in different parts of India
Bangalore, Aug 6: Heavy rains and thundershower has occured in several parts of the country, including Kerala, west Madhya Pradesh and Assam and Meghalya.
Some of the other places, which have received very heavy rainfall in the past few days include Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, west Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and isolated places in Tamilnadu, Bihar, Gujarat, Gangetic West, Bengal and east Rajasthan.

Rainfall would occur in most of the above-mentioned places in the next 3 days. However, extreme weather conditions would be visible over SubHimalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam, Meghalaya.
Heavy rainfall would occur at isolated places over Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, south interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
Coastal Karnataka and ghat areas are likely to witness heavy to very heavy rains in the coming 48 hours.
