Not just politics, Telangana leaves an effect on food world too

Hyderabad, Aug 2: The effect of creation of a the new state of Telangana has spilled over into the world of south Indian cuisines as well.

In the wake of the bifurcation of the state, the demand to popularise recipes from Telangana has grown further and Hyderabad eateries and restaurants might see a section dedicated to the food from the new state besides the regular Andhra dishes, which are far less spicy than their T-counterparts.

Sources said the trend has already picked up with popular food joints in Warangal, Karimnagar and Medak serving Telangana dishes. It is said that these dishes are being sold more in the city nowadays.

Chenaga pindi billala kura, pachi pulusu, salla kadi, bakshyalu and sarva pindi are some of Telangana's well-known food items and the popular opinion is in favour of promoting these more once the new state has been carved out.

The sellers of popular T-snacks are also glad that the promotion of the Telangana cuisines will help them grown their businesses more.

So, we have found a good effect of forming a new state. Who says it's only about politics?
