Acharya Institutes inaugurates 26th JANGJEON mathematical conference

Bangalore, August 1: The Jangjeon Mathematical Society, South Korea in association with Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies, Bangalore organized 4-day long 26th International Conference "Global Advancement of Mathematics" (GAM) 2013 here in Soladevanahalli campus, Bangalore.

The conference proposes to overview and discusses several aspects for the development and advancement of Mathematical concepts both in research and applications. It is believed that such a platform will prevent the Mathematics from sinking around the globe.

The academic programmes of conference include plenary sessions , lectures and presentation of research papers from Algebra, Applied Mathematics, Differential Equations and Number Theory, Computer Networking, Functional Analysis, Mathematical Physics and chemistry, Different Equations and Numerical Analysis.

"It is a matter of pride that highly eminent scholars from India and across the world are presenting their papers in this conference and I would like to thank the Indian Mathematical Society and Jangjeon Mathematical Society, South Korea for giving a opportunity to organize this mega event in Acharya Institue", said Prof Gurunathrao Vaidya, Principal, AIGS and Conference chairperson.

"Mathematics in the recent days is declining the quality and there is been a huge shortage of the teachers and such conference and events create more academicians in future", said S H Rim, Scientific committee member , Jangjeon Mathematical Society, South Korea.

The conference will have 23 delegates from different countries like, Ukraine, South Korea, Turkey, Japan, China, Canada and more than 100 academicians from India will be presenting their paper from 1 to 4 of August.

Shri B M Reddy, President, JMJ Education Trust, Prof. Chandrashekar Adiga, Mysore University, Prof. P K Banerjee, Jodhpur University, India and principle investigator DSCE Research Project, Indian Mathematical Science, Kolkata, V Lokesha V.S.K University, Bellary, India were also present.
