Civilian chopper crashes in Kedarnath, 2 dead
According to reports, the chopper crashed in Bhairav Chetti area in Kedarnath, killing the pilot and a fellow technician.
According to a news report, the ill-fated chopper belonged to Trans Bharat Aviation.
Some TV reports suggested that inclement weather was the reason behind the crash.
Earlier, one more helicopter has crashed on the same site earlier, killing a pilot.
Another such tragic incident of chopper crash happened during the rescue operation last month, when an Indian Air Force chopper (Mi-17 V5) was returning carrying 20 personnel near Guptkashi in flood-ravaged Uttarakhand, killing all onboard.
